Not sure yet?

Start with these 5 questions.

78.4% of our graduates who answered our 2026 survey were working in their field within 6 months. That came from the course choice, made a year before the visa.

  1. What can your family show, and for how long? Australia and the UK need the most money upfront. Germany, Cyprus and Belgium need the least.
  2. What are your marks after +2 or your bachelor's? Germany and Finland reward strong grades; Australia has diploma pathways for lower ones.
  3. Will you learn another language? If yes, Germany, Finland and the Nordic countries open up. If no, stick to the UK, Australia and the Netherlands.
  4. Does your field need a licence? Nursing, teaching and medicine need registration in the country you work in. Check it before the country.
  5. What do you want after you graduate? Australia and the UK give the clearest post-study work. Cyprus has none.

Choose the job first. Then the course. Then the country. A visa for the wrong course is a very expensive ticket. Our courses guide compares the fields Nepali students choose most.

FAQ

What families ask before choosing a country.

Which country is best to study abroad for Nepali students?

The one that fits your marks, your budget and the job you want after, in that order. Australia suits students who want strong work rights and a clear route into work. Germany suits strong students on small budgets who will learn German. The table on this page puts all 10 side by side.

Which country is cheapest to study in from Nepal?

Germany, at a public university: no tuition, only a semester contribution. But you must show €11,904 a year for living costs. After Germany, Belgium and Cyprus usually have the lowest tuition on our shortlists.

Which country is best for study and work?

Australia allows 48 hours a fortnight in term and unlimited hours in breaks. Finland allows an average of 30 hours a week. Sweden cut new students to 15 hours a week from June 2026. In most of Europe, part-time jobs need the local language.

Which country gives the longest stay after graduation?

Denmark gives up to 3 years to look for work after a Danish degree, Finland up to 2 years, Australia 2 years after a bachelor's or coursework master's, the UK 2 years if you apply by 31 Dec 2026 (18 months after), and Germany up to 18 months.

Can I study abroad with a low GPA?

Often, through a pathway: a diploma or foundation year that leads into a degree. Australia and the UK have the most pathways. Most of Europe looks harder at grades. A free call tells you which pathways fit your marks.

Which country has the highest visa approval rate for Nepali students?

For our own files in FY 2025/26: the Netherlands (94.6%), Finland (94.4%) and Sweden (93.8%) were highest. A high rate partly means students were well prepared; it doesn't mean a country is easy. See all 10 on our visa success rate page.
