- The refusal letter, if any country has said no before

FAQ
Before you come in.
Where exactly is your office?
2nd floor, Jhochhen Tole (Freak Street), Basantapur, Kathmandu 44600. We're opposite Basantapur Dabali, the raised platform in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Look for the Landed sign above the thangka shop; the stairs are to the left of it.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. The public parking area at Basantapur is a 2-minute walk. Motorbikes can also park on the Jhochhen side. There's no parking at the building itself.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk in any time we're open. If you book a time, your country's counsellor will be free when you arrive, and you won't wait.
Are you open on Saturday?
Saturday 10:00 to 14:00, for phone and video calls only. The office is open Sunday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:30.
Can I do everything online without visiting?
Yes. Many of our students outside Kathmandu never visit until the pre-departure briefing. Calls, WhatsApp and video work for every step. Original documents can come by courier.
How fast will someone call me back?
Within 15 minutes, Sunday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:30. Last year the median was 11 minutes. Outside office hours, at 9:00 the next working day.
